The interaction command emote is used for free-form actions. For convenience, the colon character may also be used as a shortcut. Examples:
> emote waves to everybody
Brandon waves to everybody
> :jumps up and down
Brandon jumps up and down
You can get rid of the space after your name, by doubling up the colon:
> ::'s head hurts
Brandon's head hurts
