| People are constantly coming here and asking why they can't modify something in their core. The login configuration stuff should probably mention the setting that needs to be modified, or the error message needs to become much more clear.

On 02-Dec-1998 Bruce ($user_bruce) Comments: Nolan modified $sys.touch() to point towards @set $sys:writable-core. Perhaps, to fully address the questions that people have, there should be a help node explaining the philosophy behind it as well as how to make the core writable, and have $sys.touch() point people to the help node rather than @set. | |
